Legal stay in Poland

Obtaining temporary protection

Citizens of Ukraine, as well as their husbands (wives) who have left their homeland as a result of Russian aggression, may stay in Poland legally for 18 months.

This applies to persons who arrived in Poland directly from Ukraine after February 24, 2022 and want to stay in Poland.

Refugee status does not need to be registered!

Procedure for processing documents

Registration of the documents described below is not required

Getting Pesel

Make an appointment at the office

Take a picture like a passport.

Come to the office with the following documents

Passport, internal passport or identity card or other photo document, in the case of children it may be a birth certificate. You do not need to translate these documents. If you do not have any documents, inform the employee during the service - we will tell you what to do next.

  • A photo you took earlier with a photographer.

  • Phone (must be Polish).

  • The booking number you received by email.

  • Enter the office building 10 minutes before the scheduled visit, then follow the instructions of staff and volunteers.

  • During the service at the cash register we will take your data to the central electronic system, take fingerprints (children under 12 do not take fingerprints), scan a previously taken photo

How to get to TAURON Arena?

Stop - TAURON Arena Krakow al. Pokoju: tram № 1, 14, 22; bus № 128.

Stop - TAURON Arena Kraków Wieczysta: tram № 4, 5, 9, 10, 49, 52; buses № 124, 128, 424.

Stop - TAURON Arena Kraków (at the main entrance from Lema Street): bus № 128.

Don't forget: public transport is free if you have a passport.
